Construction Management Services
Campbell Construction has been providing Construction Management (CM) services since its inception in 1953. Construction Management, in simplest terms, is a process that provides single sourced accountability through one party assuming responsibility for managing the construction for a project from start to finish. We have assumed the CM role on many industrial, commercial and institutional projects over the years. In addition to traditional construction management, Campbell Construction has also served as a design-build construction manager.
Design-Build Construction Management is a method of project delivery in which one entity forges a single contract with the owner to provide architectural, engineering and construction management services. The design-build entity is both the designer and the construction manager of record. The design-build CM assumes the responsibilities and risks of cost, schedule, quality and management of the entire project.
In this project delivery system, Campbell does not utilize its staff of trade people but rather subcontracts the entire project. Our role is to perform/oversee the design/engineering of the project, manage the bidding process, select subcontractors/suppliers for the project, obtain all permits and then direct the day-to-day activities on-site until the project is completed and to the owner’s satisfaction.
