John Campbell, CEO/President
John has been active in the construction industry for more than 50 years. He started as a teen working for his father building custom homes. He has been involved in the design and construction of commercial and industrial structures since 1974 and completely changed the focus of the company when he purchased the company from his father in 1981. John provides overall direction to the architectural and engineering divisions of the company and provides strategic direction for the entire organization . He attended the University of Akron where he majored in Construction Engineering Technology. John has served on many boards over the years and currently heads the Design and Review Board for the City of Wooster. His is a current Rotarian and a member of the Design-Build Institute of America. John is married and has two daughters, one son and five grandchildren.
Joe Campbell, V.P. of Construction Management
Joe Campbell has over 24 years’ experience in commercial and industrial construction. He currently overseas the Construction Management and Safety divisions of the company. During his tenure with the company, he has worked within all the trade groups and held the title of Assistant Project Manager, Project Manager, and Safety Coordinator. He holds the designation of a Certified Professional Constructor and Certified Concrete Field-Testing Technician. Joe attended the Montana State University and graduated from the University of Akron with a degree in Construction Engineering Technology. Joe has two sons and one daughter and loves skiing, mountain biking, and being outdoors.
Stephanie Campbell, Secretary/Treasurer, Controller
Stephanie has been part of the executive team at Campbell since 2005. She began her experience serving as the Assistant Business Development Director and then transitioned to overseeing all of the financial/bookkeeping functions of the company. In addition to her work responsibilities, Stephanie is very active in her support of the Wooster Community and has assisted the Wooster Area Chamber of Commerce with Woosterfest, Field of Dreams, and The Home and Garden Show. Stephanie received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Ashland University in 2005 and her Master of Business Administration in 2014. She is also a graduate of Leadership Wooster. Stephanie is married and lives in Wooster and loves to bake/cook and spoil her nieces and nephews in her free time.
David A. Aulger, Architect, V.P. of Design
Dave began his architectural career in 1991 when he received his Bachelor of Science of Architecture from Kent State University. He also received his Bachelor of Architecture degree in 1992 from Kent State as well. Dave worked for Felty-Heinlen Architects in Mansfield for 20 years where he specialized in the design of commercial and religious facilities. In 2013 he started working for Campbell Construction and was named the V.P. of Design for Campbell in 2019. Dave is married and has 2 daughters, one son, and one grandchild. He and his family attend Mohican Church of the Brethren and they enjoy camping, fishing and being out in nature.
Paul Streb, V.P. of Construction Services
Paul grew up in Dalton, OH and is no stranger to hard work. He started working for his father at the family business in Dalton – Streb Meats. He graduated from Dalton High School in 1979 and began working for Campbell in 1981. Paul started as a laborer and has worked in all construction trades for the company including masonry, steel erection, equipment operator, and concrete. He has served in the capacity of a Helper, Journeyman, Foreman, and Superintendent. In his current capacity as V.P. of Construction Services, he oversees all company equipment and field personnel. Paul is married and has 3 daughters and 10 grandchildren. In his spare time, he is always helping one of his daughters with their home projects or doing woodworking at home in his shop.
Jeff Stevenson, V.P. of Business Development
Jeff started with Campbell Construction in 1989 where he participated in the sales and marketing efforts for the company. He has served in the roll of V.P. of Business Development since 1995 and oversees sales, marketing, human resources, information technology, web site development and overall business development activities. Jeff graduated from the University of Akron in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing. He is a graduate of Leadership Medina County, a past president of the Wadsworth Rotary Club and currently serves on the board of multiple Economic Development entities. He currently is the Committee Chair for Retail, Properties and E-Commerce for Goodwill of Akron and has been a Board member there for 9 years. Jeff is married and has one daughter who recently graduated from the University of Mount Union. Away from work Jeff loves to help family and friends with construction and repair projects and loves tinkering with anything mechanical, especially cars and motorcycles.
